The Wii Console

The Wii is one of my favorite consoles. It all started on November 19, 2006 (December 2000 for other countries) (Wii - Wikipedia). So as we know, Nintendo was making pixel 2D games. When the first Sony Playstation came out, Nintendo wanted to find a way to stay on top and have the most popular consoles. Since they realized that 3D games are more popular now, they made a game called Super Mario 64 (Super Mario 64 - Super Mario Wiki, the Mario encyclopedia) in 1996 on the Nintendo 64 (Nintendo 64) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vtvFVH9JdNI). Since things weren’t working out, they created the Nintendo Gamecube (in my opinion, I think Nintendo copied Sony by making the Gamecube look like the Playstation). Since things still weren’t working out, Nintendo focused more on fun for another console to be developed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vtvFVH9JdNI). And that’s how the Wii was born! (just as a fact, the Wii competed with the Xbox 360 and the PS3) (Nintendo Wii (2006-2013)) An advertisement slogan for the Nintendo Wii is “Wii would like to play”( . I have a feeling that this slogan had to do with why the Wii was called Wii. I think this also has to do with the fact that Wii games are multiplayer, and the name “Wii” means “we”, so that everybody can play on it. If you like this console and are interested in buying a Wii, I think you made a good choice! In my opinion, Wii consoles are really cool to have around the house.
